I remember being with my cousins and one of my aunts and just playing in the snow. We were throwing snowballs,building snowmen,and making snow angels. There was just sooo much snow! I loved it : )

ReplyDeletemy favorite winter memory is definitely Christmas in Germany, 2005. My dad flew my husband, then fiance, and I over there and we walked to the castle in the snow and went to the Weinachtmarkets, and had a BLAST. It was absolutely magical. <3

I remember playing in the snow (and there was a TON of it) with my friends until twilight and when I came inside, my dad had a fire roaring in the fireplace and my mom had made hot cocoa. It's a small, but very happy memory for me. :)

My favorite thing about December is the snow. Yes it's a pain to drive in and it sucks having to shovel, but Utah's snow is so beautiful and peaceful, and everything seems quiet. I also love baking for Christmas, but the snow is first.

December has both Christmas and my brother's birthday in it. Celebrating my brother's birthday is always bittersweet since he is no longer with me. Thanks to my wonderful husband for helping me though the tougher dates when it comes to missing my big brother.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite winter memory: The winter that I was 8, we had record snowfall. There was just feet and feet of snow on the ground. My sister and I played outside almost all of the daylight hours of the day. We built snow forts, went sledding, dug tunnels. It was awesome. All the snow made the power go out often, so alot of nights were spent playing board games by candle.
