Hi Everyone!
For this tutorial I decided to try filming it!! It is essentially 1 part: a tutorial on using blacks and 1 part: a review of my new Sigma Mrs. Bunny brush set!
So, if you want to learn how I achieved this look:
Then please, keep on watching! (Unfortunately I had to break the video into two parts, I hope you'll watch both! :) )
Part 1:
Part 2:
In case you missed any of what I used, here were my supplies:
(Gabriel Color Mascara, Urban Decay 24/7 pencils in "Yeyo" and "Zero", NYX Eyeshadow Base in "White", The All Natural Face Primer in "Black", Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Madd Style Cosmetics piggies: Kitty Wumpous, Fabby Lala, Petal Parade, Sparkle Motion and Birfday Suit, Mrs. Bunny Brushes (!) and a Body Shop blending brush.)
Like I say in the video--thank you so much for tuning in and please let me know what you thought of my very first official filmed tutorial! :)
I LOOOOOOOOOOVE it - your so tute :D anyway this was excellent - the way you explained the what and why of what you were doing was awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteTHIS is a tutorial - most that I watch just show the colors they are using and where they put them so this was very helpful to me!
Thank you so much for your feedback, Vada!! Now I just have to figure out a way to still explain stuff, but to do it in less than 15 minutes! :)
ReplyDeleteI've gotta agree with Mo -- I would've never guessed this was your first tutorial video you did awesome!! Bravo! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca!!
ReplyDeleteGirl, I love your face. It was "long", literally, but you were offering a lot of technique advice, which more than makes up for it. I liked watching it. I'm with Mo! MORE.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to figure out a way to chat with myself less next time! Or make advice stuff separate somehow! But thanks!!
Pshaw Beth you give lotta tech in your vids too - it's why I loved them before I met you through MUFE ... :D
ReplyDeletei loved this tutorial, very detailed, descriptive and informative. you definitely need to do more, i love your personality! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah!! :)
ReplyDelete:) I will keep this in mind for my future ones!
ReplyDeleteYou are A-DORABLE! I hope you find time for more tutorials. I really enjoyed watching this (and I'm not a huge tutorial finisher) :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear that you liked it, Taylor!! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteMy plan is to make more. ;)
Awesome tut, D! <3 You did an awesome job explaining everything, this was perfect! You're a natural in front of the camera! MORE MORE MORE!! LOL
ReplyDelete:D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mo!!! Hopefully there will be more to come.
:D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mo!!! Hopefully there will be more to come.
:) The brushes are pretty fantastic. The only thing I'm worried about at this point is that they'll stain pretty easily--so far I've managed to avoid it though!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliment on my tutorial though!!
The brushes really are quite great. I'm very happy with that purchase! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you so much for your comments on the video! And thanks for watching!!
Honestly - I'd rather watch a 15 minute video and leave it feeling like I learned something - than a seven minute one where I don't ... lol the technique chatter was AWESOME for someone just learning this whole "more than 2 shades on one eye" thing
ReplyDeleteSqweeee! I love it!~ You are so cute and obviously in love with your Bunny brushes! I will have to try this combo !
ReplyDeleteOh those brushes are too freaking cute. And I have to say, that was pretty awesome for your first on-camera tutorial! Hope to see more in the future :D
