For some reason I always seem to get inspired to do my makeup when I'm going to be going to bed in about an hour. Tonight was no exception!
I also decided it would be fun to use many different companies together in a single look! It all started out with me wanting to use Inglot's 385 Matte in my crease with a "light colour" on the lid.
This is what I ended up with:
Products used:
- MTCoffinz "Under the Rainbow" primer
- NXY Eyeshadow Base in "White"
- Urban Decay's 24/7 Pencil in "Yeyo" applied to lower lash line and in duct
- Madd Style Cosmetics "Pisces" applied to first 2/3rds of lid
- Inglot "385 Matte" applied to outer lid and blended heavily (but applied lightly) into crease
- Madd Style Cosmetics "Birfday Suit" for brow highlight
- Sugarpill "Poison Plum" applied to entire lower lash line
- Sugarpill "Weekender" applied to outer 3/4 of lower lash line
- Naked Cosmetics "Purple" from the Ivory Stack in the duct
- Urban Decay's 24/7 Pencil in "Zero" applied to waterline
- Urban Decay's Ink for Eyes in "Zero" for a "soft" winged liner
- Milani Power Lash for mascara
And that's all, folks! :)
I really like it, the purple and green are so pretty together.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of products! I wonder if this look could be done with fewer?
ReplyDeleteToo much colour blending? How so? I'm curious to see if maybe I can make it less scary for you! :)
ReplyDeletei can make my eyes look like that with 99 cent makeup and purple eyeliner!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this. I'm really digging the light shimmer in the center looks right now and this is one of those I love.
ReplyDelete:) Thanks, Sarah!
ReplyDeletethen go for it & post a response with photo and a list so people can dupe it with alternative products! =D
ReplyDeleteI really like this look! Well done. However, I think it would be too much colour blending for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's great! I would probably have a hard time since a lot of the more readily available makeup isn't vegan. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm glad you like it, Kristen! :)
ReplyDeleteWell. I was trying to use a lot of products on purpose. I like to see how different brands mix together. :)
ReplyDeleteThere aren't a lot of shadows on the lid and not a lot on the lower lid either--but with the bases it does add up! You could certainly just do a purple on the lower lash line (without using two) and you could even use the lightest lid colour in the duct and eliminate that one. Adding multiple colours does help give the look depth though. :)
