Madd Style Cosmetics: Fade Away One Colour Look!

Hi Everyone!!

Today I decided to go back to basics and do a look that only requires two Madd Style Cosmetics colours.  This look would be perfect for someone who is just starting out using loose pigments or who might not be used to using bright colours just yet!  To make it a bit more interesting, however, I have applied the main colour (Fade Away) over a black base to achieve some pretty striking results.  :)

If you want to know how I achieved this look, then you just gotta click "Play"!!

Here is the tutorial:

And just in case you missed any of the supplies I used:

(MT Coffinz "Under the Rainbow" Eyeshadow primer; Barry M Intense Black Mascara 3 in 1; Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Pencils in Zero and Yeyo; Madd Style Cosmetics pigments in Fade Away, Down the Rabbit Hole and Birfday Suit; a stiff blending brush, a flat shader brush, a fluffy crease brush; a pencil brush and a thin angled liner brush; Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer in "Milk Chocolate"; Sugarpill's "Bulletproof.)

Thanks again for stopping by my blog to check out my tutorial!  I hope you have a great day and please let me know of any requests you have for future tutorials.  :)

Edit: The other great thing about looks like this is that they are easily turned into a smokey night time look with the simple addition of a black at the outer portion of the lid and to the outer part of the lower lash line.  After I had filmed this tutorial and wore the look all day, I was going out to dinner and decided to jazz the look up a little!  All it took was a bit of Madd Style Cosmetics' "Madd Tea Party", another colour from the Alice in Wonderland inspired collections, applied with the same pencil brush that I used in the tutorial!

  1. :D Yes, I think it is too! Especially with the amped up smokiness that I added later on.
